View Full ListingHow to Reserve a Field
Tips for booking public and private soccer fields across the Chicago area.
Public & City-Owned Fields
For most public grass fields, especially if you need to guarantee a spot for a team practice or league game, you’ll need to go through the relevant parks department. In Chicago, the Chicago Park District handles permits, scheduling, and fees for athletic fields. Suburban fields are managed by their respective village or city park districts.
Many of our individual listings include direct links to the appropriate booking or permit page. We recommend applying well in advance, as popular fields — especially those with lights and turf — fill up quickly during spring and fall seasons.
Private, Turf & Indoor Facilities
Private facilities, including most indoor arenas and premium turf complexes, manage their own booking schedules. You will not find their availability on the city website.
Your best course of action is to check the specific field’s detail page here in our directory. We provide direct links to their booking websites or contact phone numbers whenever possible. We recommend booking well in advance, as prime spots fill up quickly, especially during evenings and weekends.
